Portsmouth Neighborhood Association PNA Committees

PNA Committees

Committees are made up of PNA members. You do not have to be a board member to chair or participate on a committee. The PNA, being an all volunteer organization, is always in need of willing individuals who want to help. You may either call the committee chair directly to get involved (see the roster on the "About PNA page) or email us. We will also request that you fill out the following interest form. If there is a committee that you feel we need, let us know.

Land Use

Involved with the Interstate Corridor Urban Renewal Area committees (general forum, transportation, parks), variance requests for home construction/renovation, streets and development (residential and business) of our neighborhood. The Land Use Committee Members are:

Events

Hosts and promotes neighborhood events that raise awareness of our community and create an opportunity for us to get to know each other. The Events Committee Members are:

Communication

Communicates news and events to our community via the PNA website, advertisements, community forums, newsletter and a (soon to be implemented) email service. The Voice Committee Members are:

Livability

Encourages neighbors to take pride in our community by cleaning up graffiti, trash pickup, planting trees and anything that makes our neighborhood shine. The Livability Committee Members are:

Community Outreach

Works for increased participation in PNA events and decisions by a membership that is representative of Portmsouth’s diverse communities. The Community Outreach Committee Members are:
